Originally this feature was aimed at the Asset Grid and Asset Page only - to help you focus on the image distraction free.

However Darkmode has become popular across apps far and wide in 2019, popularised by Apple (in recent versions of the Mac OS and IOS devices like iPhones and iPads) and many others.

We love Darkmode too - so we’ve added Darkmode for Admins.

The new Darkmode button moves to the top nav menu and is a simple toggle switch. It activates Darkmode (or Lightmode) across the whole of the Admin interface.

Give it a try next time you’re in the mood for a dark or muted interface.

Please note this feature has been redesigned in Brandkit 2 to support system preferences (no toggle needed).
